On the results of the public consultation on the draft amendments to the Common Regulations for the Use of Natural Gas Transmission System 

The amendments made by the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia on 14 July 2022 to Article 106(4) of the Energy Law establish a ban on the supply of natural gas from the Russian Federation and the relevant provision will enter into force on  January 1, 2023.       

Conexus Baltic Grid in cooperation with Estonian natural gas transmission system operator Elering AS organised a public consultation on changes to the Common Regulations for the Use of Natural Gas Transmission System in the period from November 10, 2022 to November 18, 2022 to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Energy Law.

The public consultation has resulted in a summary of the proposals and comments on the draft rules jointly submitted by market participants and the Estonian and Latvian regulatory authorities, which can be found HERE.
