Customs Information

According to the changes in the Energy Law of the Republic of Latvia, the supply of natural gas from the Russian Federation was banned starting from January 1st, 2023 and relevant amendments were introduced in the Common Regulations for the Use of the Natural Gas Transmission system, providing that natural gas from the third country may be transported through the Estonian-Latvian balancing zone only for transit purposes.

The custom warehause status of the Inčukalns UGS facility has been revoked effective 1 January 2024. Consequently, AS "Conexus Baltic Grid" is no longer able to store the natural gas with "non-union" status into Inčukalns UGS facility.
