Tariffs for natural gas transmission services will remain unchanged

Conexus Baltic Grid AS informs that the tariffs for the natural gas transmission system service will remain unchanged after 30 September 2022.

In accordance with the Decision of the Council of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission No 171 of 27 November 2019, the existing transmission service tariffs have been approved for the period from 1 January 2020 to 30 September 2022. As no new tariffs for the natural gas transmission system service are foreseen to enter into force from 1 October 2022, the existing tariffs for the natural gas transmission system service will apply until the start of the new regulatory period.

The charges for the use of the exit point for the supply of Latvian users will remain unchanged, as well as the tariffs for the annual standard capacity products of the natural gas transmission system, the tariffs for the short-term standard capacity products, the tariffs for the interruptible capacity products and the tariffs for the interruptible virtual counter-flow capacity products.

The date of entry into force of the new regulatory period is currently uncertain, but is expected to be 1 October 2023. The effective date of the new regulatory period depends both on the decision on Lithuania's accession to the common natural gas transmission entry-exit system of Finland, Estonia and Latvia, and on the revision of the methodology for calculating the tariffs for natural gas transmission system services planned for this year.
