Inčukalns UGS increases injection capacity

To increase the natural gas inventory in the Inčukalns Underground Gas Storage (UGS), "Conexus Baltic Grid" AS (hereinafter - Conexus) has carried out additional necessary preparation works to increase injection capacity of Inčukalns UGS.

The injection into Inčukalns UGS is scheduled to begin after the end of the withdrawal season on April 30, 2022. However, due to the need to ensure sufficient natural gas inventory in Inčukalns UGS, injection started already at the end of February and further increase of injection capacity is planned for March 16.

Starting from tomorrow, March 16, the daily injection capacity of the storage facility will be increased to at least 75 GWh/day.
