Increase of Inčukalns UGS injection capacity

After reviewing 2020 injection season actual injection mode to date, JSC "Conexus Baltic Grid" has reviewed Inčukalns underground gas storage (Inčukalns UGS) injection capacity for 2020 injection season.

Expected capacity increase is from 105 GWh/day to 126 GWh/day for 30 consecutive gas days starting from June 22, 2020 until July 21, 2020 (included). Increase of injection capacity 21 GWh/day will be available for nomination from 13:00 June 19, 2020 (Riga time).

Injection capacity that will be available for injection after July, 21,2020 shall be updated by July 15, 2020. In addition we inform that Inčukalns UGS injection capacity is allocated according to Regulation of use of Inčukalns UGS and in case of congestion the congestion management principles apply.

Regulation also applies in case of congestion.
