Public consultation on the amendments to the Common Regulations for the Natural Gas Balancing of Transmission System

Latvian natural gas transmission system operator AS Conexus Baltic Grid and Estonian natural gas transmission system operator Elering AS are jointly launching a public consultation on changes to the unified natural gas transmission entry-exit system balancing regulations (hereinafter referred to as the Draft Amendments).

Invitation to public consultation

The purpose of the public consultation is to inform system users about the planned changes to the balancing regulations and to find out the opinions of interested parties on the Draft amendments. The draft amendments were approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Latvia at its Council meeting on September 29, 2022 (Decision No. 186) and by the Estonian Competition Authority on September 30, 2022 (Decision No. 7-29/2022-001).

Please submit your proposals and comments on the draft amendments (in English) by July 2, 2025 to the following e-mail addresses: AS ‘Conexus Baltic Grid’ ([email protected]) or Elering AS ([email protected]).

The amendments to the Common Regulations for the Natural Gas Balancing of Transmission System are intended to enter into force 30 days after coordinated decision by the Public Utilities Commission of Latvia and Estonian Competition Authority. Until the date of entry into force of the draft Amendments, the current version of the Common Regulations for the Natural Gas Balancing of Transmission System shall apply.
